Review of Retinol 2.5% Face Night Cream Moisturizer

I have a new review for you today! And just so you know I will be receiving around 4 products tomorrow so look out for those reviews! I am super excited to be doing all of these reviews. It gives me a chance to try out products that I may not have bought for myself because I worry about wasting money on something that I might end up not liking. So far the things I have reviewed haven't been to bad, though the nursing cover and eye cream certainly were not amazing; I am just happy I got to try them out! Any hoo, on to my review of Retinol 2.5% Face Night Cream Moisturizer. So first a little about the product (I always like to add that just so everyone knows exactly what it is and what its used for in case its something that they have been looking for):
It is a powerful cocktail of antioxidants combined with Vitamin A to diminish fine lines, wrinkles, and premature aging skin due to sun exposure. Vitamin A boasts a long list of clinically proven restorative, anti-aging, and youthening properties. This result oriented formulation will fight free radical damage as well as restore and renew firmness, elasticity, and thickness to skin.

The first thing I noticed was the container which is not anything fancy but it's nice. I opened it up and as always I smelled it. I had gone through other peoples reviews of the product to prepare myself for what to expect and many people had talked about a scent to it, but honestly I did not smell anything; which I love! I really do not like face products with a scent because it usually sticks for a while and they are usually not very pleasant, so thank you Clia! The texture of this is super creamy and light, so when I apply it, it goes on super smooth and silky which is amazing! As I have mentioned in previous posts, I have very oily skin but I also do have some dry spots and its hard to find a moisturizer that doesn't leave my skin extra oily after applying. This moisturizer however left my skin super soft! So this product I think would be good for any skin type (that is super hard to find!). Because it is such a creamy and light moisturizer it absorbs into the skin so quickly, unlike some that you have to really work into your skin and sometimes apply a lot of. And with this one a little goes a long way! It really leaves my skin feeling super soft, light, and refreshed! I will definitely be continuing to use this product! Review of Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask by Valentia

How was your Christmas? Mine was wonderful! This Christmas had a lot of firsts for me! It was my first Christmas with my Husband, my first as a mommy, and also my first not spent with my family back home. This year was a lot different then what I was used to, but I loved every minute of it! 

Okay, now on to the review! In case you did not see my previous post about the  #ValentiaUltraPlumpingHydrationMask here is a little info about it from the company:

So like the last Valentia product I got (if you didn't see that post it's the True Glow Eye Cream go check it out!) I really loved the packaging; it's really beautiful! When I first open a beauty product like this, the first thing I always do is smell it. I really did not like the smell of this stuff. I was trying to find a comparison to it but I really could not think of one. It's just odd. Also the color really surprised me; it's a musty orange looking color. I did not really like that either. But other than those things I really love this product. 

To use it you apply to face avoiding the eye area and leave it on for about 15-30 minutes. After 15-30 minutes remove it using a damp cloth and warm water. When I first put it on I got a tingly, warm sensation, but it even says on the box that it is completely normal to feel that. I still didn't like the smell but it wasn't as strong once I put it on, which was good. The mask went on really smooth, which actually really surprised me because I was expecting it to be thicker. After I realized it was a thinner, oilier mask I got a little worried that it was going to make my face oilier to but I was pleasantly surprised. It made my skin super duper soft and feel amazing! I noticed that my skin definitely looked more radiant but nothing else so far, i'll let you know if that changes though. But over all I am really pleased with this product. I also really love that 98% of the ingredients in this product are all natural so I don't have to worry that I am putting a whole bunch of chemicals on my face! 

I really love working with this company! I have had an amazing experience with them so far. They have amazing customer service, are very diligent, and I would love to work with them some more! I do have one more product coming in the mail soon from them and I can not wait to try it out! Hopefully I love it as much as I love this one!

Review of OZN Commerce Nursing Cover

It's time for my review of #OZNCommerceNursingCover (As I was writing this I was imagining saying this in an announcers tone like they do for boxing matches, it makes it much more exciting!). I have been so excited to receive this product because I am a new mom who is breastfeeding and I don't have a nursing cover yet. Also because I am very shy and when I go out in public, unless I am in a place where no one can see me, I don't breastfeed; I either pump before I go out or I bring formula. I really need to get over this shyness and I am hoping that having an actual nursing cover will help with that. I always see these moms out there who can just pop there stuff out and do it in front of everyone and I just don't understand it. On one hand it makes me so uncomfortable to know that anyone can look over and just see my boob hanging out, like no thank you. On the other hand i'm sure it makes other people uncomfortable to have to see that! So with this nursing cover I am hoping to not only make myself comfortable with breastfeeding in public but also the people around me.

So lets get stared shall we? So first I have to say, I love how this package came! First it's in this nice plastic bag with its name on the front to keep it clean. Then when I open the plastic bag there is another bag (that is the same design as the cover is) that is a draw string bag to easily carry the nursing cover in which is a sweet bonus! Now I'm gonna be completely honest when I put this thing on for the first time I had no idea what I was doing and was really confused on how I should put in on. I was really disappointed that it didn't come with a little guide to show me how to. But after looking at the little picture that came with it I figured it out. I do like that it is very light so I don't have to worry about my baby girl over heating. Also the design on it is super cute and unisex so it's great for all mothers! I also love that it has a little "window" for you to see the baby. I didn't like the way it fit on me with the baby and it's really hard to adjust it while the baby is nursing to sure i'm covered. I wish there was a way to maybe hook it to my clothes or something on the sides to make sure it doesn't move around so much. But it is a very cute cover!

Review of Valentia's True Glow Eye Cream

Happy Wednesday! Just two more days until Christmas! I am so excited!! It's my daughters first Christmas and I can't wait for her to see all her presents (even though she's only 6 weeks old and won't even understand what's going on, I'll be excited for her).
So I got my review products in the mail yesterday and I am thrilled to share them with you! First i'm going to be doing my review of the Valentia's True Glow Eye Cream. In case you didn't see my other post about this product here is a little information about it and about Valentia:

I used this product twice so far and I'm not to fond of it yet. The packaging is beautiful and they also added a card with 15% off my next purchase which is awesome! When I opened it the first thing I did was smelt it and it reminded me of caladryl skin protectant (you know that pink cream you put on your bug bites that are really itchy) mixed with a little bit of citrus.
I love that the bottle has a pump and it gave me a perfect amount of cream to apply with just one pump. The texture was a little thinner then I was imagining but went on smooth which was nice. However I didn't like the way it made my skin feel. I have oily skin and I was hoping that the cream would still make my skin soft, as other reviewers had said, but unfortunately it did not. First my skin was kind of sticky then after an hour it just felt greasy. It also gave my face this weird sensation (it made my face warm). But my eyes did look lighter after just the first use, so I'm going to keep using it and see if I get any noticeable changes.
I also really loved working with this company. They messaged me directly to give me instructions and were very helpful! They had amazing customer service! I can't wait to work with them again!

Can you believe Christmas is this Friday? Where has the year gone! Are you ready for Christmas? I have all my Christmas shopping done and everything is wrapped so I can just relax! My family and I all went yesterday to go get our Christmas pictures done and that was fun (NOT!) Things were going good, we had just been called in to come get our pictures done and the baby was super calm. Then as we were walking in all of a sudden she spit-up..all over her dress. Fortunately we could just wipe it off and there were no spots! THEN she had just wouldn't stop crying; we changed her, fed her, and burped her but she just wasn't happy! Ah life of a new mom is great. We ended up putting her pacifier/bottle in her mouth and right before the photographer took her picture we would pull it out. She would be calm for a few seconds and so we were able to get some really beautiful pictures! 

So I am super excited because I'm getting my OZN Commerce Nursing Cover tomorrow! Can't wait to try it out :). I'm also getting another item to review tomorrow and 2 more that are going to come at a later time.

Bacon and Cheddar Deviled Eggs

  I don't know about you but I LOVE the holidays! I mean whats not to love? You get to spend time with family who you might not get to see very often, buy gifts for all the people you love in your life, see all the beautiful Christmas lights and decorations everywhere, and also getting to decorate of course! But my favorite part of the holidays has to be getting to bake and cook all the delicious holiday foods (and lets not forget getting to eat all that yummy food!).

 One easy and super yummy dish I enjoy making is deviled eggs! YUM! This year however I learned a new recipe that I just had to try! Bacon and Cheddar Deviled Eggs. That just sounds amazing right? Well let me tell you they are as amazing as they sound.

So to start of this recipe you'll need:

• 12 eggs  
• 1/2 c. mayo
• 1 tbs. mustard 
• 2 tbs. shredded cheddar cheese
• 4 pieces of bacon 

First start by placing the eggs in a sauce pan and cover with cold water. Bring the water to a boil and remove it from heat. Next cover and let them sit for about 10 minutes. Then take the eggs and place them into a cold bowl of water to cool.

While your eggs are cooling go ahead and cook your bacon on a skillet till nice and crispy. Place the bacon in a paper towel to gather the excess grease then crumple into bacon bits and set aside.

Take your eggs, peel (*NOTE*  If you roll them on a hard surface before trying to peel them it is a heck of a lot easier to get them to peel. ) and cut them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a small bowl. Combine egg yolks, mayo, mustard, cheese and 3 pieces of bacon (save one to garnish the eggs with). Take your yolk mixture and put it into a zip lock bag. Cut the corner of the bag and pipe it into the egg whites. Garnish with the last of the bacon and a little cheddar cheese.
