How is your Wednesday going? Mine has been good; I've spent most of it cleaning. I have been slacking in cleaning recently and finally had the motivation to do it today! Luckily Liviana was pretty calm to today so I was able to get everything done!

I really love this canopy cover! It is so stylish! The design is a blue chiffon outside and then on the inside you have a super soft blue side. Another thing I love about this cover is that, because of how soft the inside is, it is a perfect blanket or a tummy time blanket if you are out and forgot one! It is a great cover for all weather! It is lightweight, so I don't have to worry about Livi over heating, but it is also well insulated so she went get cold in the winter! Its great. I love the cute packaging that it comes in! It comes in a cute little box, perfect for the necklaces, with there logo on it! The baltic amber necklace is a very pretty brown and yellow that is really well made! You don't have to worry about it breaking because it is double knotted and made to be pulled on so the baby can't choke on the beads (thankfully!). Also the fastner is a screw type, so much easier to put on then the tiny metal claps that some have. And both necklaces also have a great length! The amber necklace is a great length, so I know that she will be able to wear it for a long time. The mommy necklace is a great length so when Livi is sitting in my lap she can grab/teeth it easy! She is going to be teething soon and these are going to be perfect! I love that they are all natural. It so much better then buying teething necklaces and worrying about them having chemicals and other unnatural products in it! This would be a perfect gift for new mothers!

Ew. That is the first thought that comes to mind when I think of these. If you like sweet things, (like me) then these are not for you! These are so bitter! I almost spit all of it out after a small bite, but for the sake of this review (your welcome) I endured eating it. Before I continue about how gross these are, here is a description of this product:

They are a dark chocolate and coconut bar. I wasn't expecting to get a super sweet bar, obviously but they don't taste like they have any chocolate or coconut in them at all. On the other hand, they did give me a little energy after eating them, however I can't get past the taste. If these had a better flavor i would definitely give these a 5/5.

Guess the Animal Faces: Animal Identification Book for Kids

I reviewed this super adorable eBook called Guess the Animal Faces: Animal Identification Book for Kids by Lisa Rusczyk.  It is a very cute book where kids can guess the animals that are shown, then later in the book there is a search and find for all the animals! It is a cool, interactive book that is great for teaching kids all their animals! I really don't like eBooks because of all the formatting issues that always happen, but I really wish there was a printed copy of this book, because I would most definitely buy it for her to teach her all the animals! I give this #Drlisa book a 5/5!

I really love this pulse oximeter (as does my husband). My husband has heart condition so he love to know what his heart rate/pulse is. A few months ago after my husband had been hospitalized, I had purchased him a pulse oximeter to help him with some anxiety that he was having. He has a defibrillator implanted in his chest and when his heart rate gets to 180, he gets a shock to bring him back down. When he doesn't know what his heart rate is at, he gets worried that he is going to over exert himself and raise his heart rate to high (but after getting shock as many times has he has who wouldn't be scared of that happening? It's terrifying to think about!). However, the one that I had purchased him was crap. It never read him correctly (It would read that his heart rate is 160,190, 150 when he was much lower than that. And of course seeing that he would panic, but who wouldn't?) so he just stopped using it. Then I got the opportunity to review this pulse oximeter, and it is amazing! First thing I love about this product (and it is by far my favorite!!) is that it shows your levels! Most pulse ox's just show the blue bar on the side, but because this one is so awesome, it shows both! Second, it is super accurate! We tested it when my husband went for a doctors appointment and it was spot on! (Thank god!) Third it not only comes with a nice carrier, but a set of batteries and a landyard! So sweet! This is a great pulse oximeter!

Art Supply Drawing Manikin

I really love to draw. Recently I have not really had the chance to draw to much, having had a baby around. But my husband bought me a new drawing book for Christmas, so I have been wanting try to do more drawings. I received this drawing manikin to review and as soon as I got it, I loved it! I really love this product. It is perfect for people who are beginners (like me) and need a guideline when drawing the human figure. A couple months ago I was drawing a picture of my husband and the proportions were all off and it just looked bad. That's where the drawing manikin could have helped. If I would have had this to help me, it could have been my guide when trying to figure out the proportions of my husbands head to his body. Instead on my drawing my husbands head was much to small for his body and it just was off. Another thing I really like about this manikin, it is super easy to manipulate and it stays where you put it! A couple years ago I had a manikin that every time I would lift the arms up they would fall right back down, I hated it. I love that I can put this one into any position and it will stay! What came in the package:1 Mixder Runto Bluetooth Headphones, 1 Headphones Case,1 Charging Cable, and 1 User Manual. First thing that I love about these headphones is the packaging! It comes in this nice durable carrier that even has a space for the charger! Second, I received this on 1/9 and I have yet to charge it! And I have used it a bunch! These earbuds fit great and are very comfortable. Most earbuds usually don't fit my ears very well; they are either to small and fall out, or are to big and hurt my ears. But these ones have done neither to my ears so far! Score! Another great thing about them, they are super easy to use! This is definitely my favorite brand of nursing covers! They are perfect. These covers not only come with a beautiful cover, but it also comes with a nursing bracelet, a swaddle blanket (which I actually use as a burp cloth because it is to small for my chunky monkey to be a swaddle), a breastfeeding book, and on the corner of the nursing cover there is a burp cloth! It has a beautiful design on it (as does all of their nursing covers) and comes with a bag with the same design. I love that it comes with a bag! That makes is so convenient to carry it around! The cover is very simple with a cute pocket on it and a flexible metal piece on the top so you can have a little window! To start off with, I really liked this shirt and thought that the color and shape was gorgeous! When i put it on it was also very comfortable and looks amazing with a pair of leggings or skinny jeans because it is very flowy! However it is very big. I had looked through other peoples reviews to see if the fit was gonna be to big, to small, or just right, and most people said the fit was great, so I got my normal size. For me though, it was to big. I am not short and it went more than half way on my thigh. It could literally be a dress on me. Other than that it was beautiful and I would definitely buy another, just in a smaller size!

Review of Water Purifier Bottle

Okay, I have another review for you today! This one is a review of the Water Purifier Bottle. It is made for camping, hiking, backpacking, hunting, survival; so if your one of those people that are waiting for the zombie apocalypse and don't want to run out of fresh water, this item is for you!

My first thought when I saw this product was, "Holy crap, that is freakin' (i'm censoring here) awesome! I have seen a couple of bottle purifiers before but not like this one! The ones that I have seen; you put the water into the purifier and then drink when its done, but this one is different. It's like a straw that you suck through (which by the way is extremely hard to do FYI). So you if are out hiking and lose the the bottle you could just put it in water and drink, that's sick. Also this bottle comes with a 7ft of cord on it, braided up so that if you are in an emergency, you have it for whatever you need.
So while my first impression of this product was great my second was not so great. The first time I used this bottle I couldn't get anything out. At all. I was sucking and sucking, trying to get something out. I even had my husband try. Nothing. So to clean the bottle and filter, it says to blow the excess water out of the filter. One problem that I have with this is that it doesn't say which end, which maybe i'm just an idiot, but I think it is an important thing to add! Any way I start blowing on the one end and little drips come out. I couldn't get more than that out. THEN after cleaning it I tried it again and I got black water coming out... ew... So I was going to give up and give this a really bad review but then I thought, What the hell, One more time can't hurt. So I did, and FINALLY it was working! It was still a little hard to get the water out, but I was at least getting water!

What is also super cool about this product is that it is all natural ingredients! All that is in this mask is: Deionized water, dead sea mud, kaolin (soft white clay), Shea butter, sunflower oil, aloe Vera juice, vegetable glycerin, jojoba oil, hickory bark extract, calendula oil and xanthan gum (used in foods as a gelling agent and thickener). That's it! It's completely natural! And it feels like it to!
It felt super soft and smooth as I put it on. It didn't really have a scent to it, which was nice! I hate face masks that have a strong scent to it, so I love that this one does not! The instructions say to put a thin layer on, let dry for 10-15 minutes and then wipe of with a cloth in a circular motion. Like I said I love this stuff. First it dried super quick, like 5-10 minutes versus 10-15. Second after I took off the mask my face felt like heaven! My face felt so fresh, clean, and soft! I am so sad though because I can only use this product once a week (sad face).
Now I would totally recommend this product to everyone looking for a mud mask but I was looking at other peoples reviews and I saw a crap ton of negative ones and I was like "What?!? How?" And I saw that a lot of people are being scammed. They are getting a crappy looking container with a crappy mask in it. I don't understand why the company is sending out two different kinds of masks. That's some sketchy shit. If I knew that everyone I recommended this to was getting the exact same product as me, I would tell everyone about it! I really hope this company gets their shit together, because they have a great product!

Review of Vitamin C Serum

I recently received this product, the Vitamin C Serum. The first thing I noticed, and really loved about this product, is the packaging! It looks really nice and the airless pump is great (don't have to worry about any spilling!) so after I got it open I pumped a little on my hand and got worried right away! It is very oily and runny and the smells gross. It smells like soy sauce (blahh!). So I rubbed it on my hand first to see if the oiliness would rub in and make my skin soft. It didn't. Because of that I was very hesitant to put it on my face (which if you have read another of my blog posts you would know I have oily skin). I put it on (and I read other peoples reviews and they said a little goes a long way but for me i had to use a lot to cover my face and neck) and a lot of people had said that the serum dries quick but it took a little while for mine to dry completely and it hurt my acne that I have. Also for the first like 30-40 seconds of it drying my face was really sticky/oily. I really didn't see much improvement to my skin, but I have only been using it for a couple days so it might take longer to have a big difference. If I see any difference after using this product for a longer period of time i will update it!

Hello my lovely readers! Are you ready for the weekend? I have been so stressed recently. My husband has started the process of getting a heart transplant/LVAD. He has a condition called Cardiomyopathy. "In cardiomyopathy, the heart muscle becomes enlarged, thick, or rigid. In rare cases, the muscle tissue in the heart is replaced with scar tissue.As cardiomyopathy worsens, the heart becomes weaker. It's less able to pump blood through the body and maintain a normal electrical rhythm. This can lead to heart failure or irregular heartbeats called arrhythmias. In turn, heart failure can cause fluid to build up in the lungs, ankles, feet, legs, or abdomen." It's a very serious condition and very scary. Thankfully he is starting this process and hopefully will be added to the list and excepted to receive the LVad. He has had 3 appointments so far this month, has 2 more in January and many more to come after that. Plus we have our baby girl Liviana who is 2 months old. So our life is crazy. So if I take long periods of time where I am not posting, I apologize! Hopefully I will be posting a bunch of reviews, freebies, and recipes for you very soon! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Happy Sunday my lovely readers! How has your weekend been? Mine has been spent watching Shameless! On Showtime they have been showing all the episodes leading up to the season 6 premier! Which has been awesome because I had only seen season 5 when it was aired. It is an amazing show about a family, the Gallagher's, and the Father is a single father of six who is either drunk or high most of the time. The kids (Fiona, Lip, Ian, Debbie, Carol, and Liam) are all having to learn how to take care of themselves. Its a show based in Chicago. I love that its based in Chicago, because I live in Chicago and its awesome to see places and streets I recognize! Also My husband and I even went today and saw the houses where they film the show! Okay enough about that lets get onto this review shall we? Here is a little about it:

So I was really excited to review these because I had heard really great things about them and wanted to try them out! They are super cute! Though I wouldn't really say they are unisex, they could all be used on a boy, but 2 of them (The one with arrows and the one with anchors) just seem very boyish to me. But I might give them to my Husbands cousin who is 7 months pregnant with a little boy.
They are super soft and think. Honestly I kinda wish I had a blanket with that material because it is amazing! It comes with four bibs, a pacifier clip, and one bottle holder (When I opened the package I saw this thing and I was like what the hell is this? I was playing with it trying to figure it out till I finally just looked it up. Its pretty cool but probably won't be much use unless I buy bottles with handles on it (side note: does Avent have bottles with handles? I haven't seen any yet and that is the only type of bottles my little chunky monkey likes). Over all these #pashoshibaby bibs are super cute, soft, thick, and seem as though they would be very absorbent! Only complaint, wish they were not so boyish.

Whenever I open a face product, lotion, soap, shampoo, ect. I always smell it first; as I am sure most of you do also! I really enjoyed the scent of this! It is a light, fresh citrus scent that is just perfecto! One thing that I didn't like about other Valentia products was that they have a very strong scent to it, which in a face moisturizer, wash, mask, scrub or anything similar is never a really good thing (in my book at least, to each their own I guess). So I am very happy that this one does not! After I took a good whiff of it, I tested it out on my hand to see the texture and color of it and I got really worried because the texture was super runny and oily and if you have seen any of my other blog posts or YouTube videos, you would know that I have very oily skin and I don't need products to make it worse. No thank you! But after I shook it up a bit it wasn't as runny, thankfully! To be honest, even after it thickened up after I shook it, I was still a little concerned it was going to leave my skin oily, but I was pleasantly surprised. The serum quickly absorbed into my skin and it felt so soft, fresh, and moisturized! After I used it a couple times I did notice a slight difference but nothing to exciting. I think my skin looked a little brighter, and some of my acne scars and redness due to acne had cleared up a little bit. I think if I use it more I will get more of a difference. We will just have to wait and see! Overall I really like being able to test this product, just like all Valentia products! I received this product at a discount for my honest review!
