Long time no write huh? Sorry it has been so long since I wrote, my life has been crazy recently. For those of you who do not know, my husband has a very serious heart condition called Cardiomyopathy. When he was a baby (only three days old) he caught an infection in his belly button and it attacked his heart. Well recently he has been going to doctors appointments to see if he qualifies for either a transplant or for an LVad (is a pump that used for patients who have reached end-stage heart failure. They surgically implant the LVAD, a battery-operated, mechanical pump, which then helps the left ventricle (main pumping chamber of the heart) pump blood to the rest of the body. It has a plug that comes out of his body and he either has to have it plugged in or connected to a battery pack 24/7.). Well just last week we got a call saying that he was approved for a heart transplant, and he is on the list!! He was told by a nurse that because of his blood type, he has a very high chance of getting a heart at any time because not many patients have his blood type! We are super excited that something is finally happening!
So dealing with all of that and having an almost four month old baby girl (she turns four months on March 10th) my life has been crazy! Hopefully within the next 24 hours I can get some reviews posted for you guys, so stay tuned for those!
