Briskbars

Ew. That is the first thought that comes to mind when I think of these. If you like sweet things, (like me) then these are not for you! These are so bitter! I almost spit all of it out after a small bite, but for the sake of this review (your welcome) I endured eating it. Before I continue about how gross these are, here is a description of this product:

#NewtoBB Briskbars is a new kind of energy bar.Early adopters use “clarity” or “focus” to describe the sensation.

The energy comes from guarana and maca. It contains 100mg of caffeine.

Ideal for adults looking for a sustained and healthier source of energy.

No excessive sugar, obscure chemicals, artificial ingredients or preservatives common to so much of the prepared food on the market.

Briskbars is especially developed for those who need an extra source of energy but do not wish to fill their bodies with chemicals and preservatives.

Guarana, maca and lower sugar content provides a sustained energy without sugar rush.  

This unique blend makes it hard to compare with any product on the market.

Our first flavor, 70% dark chocolate coconut is bittersweet.

We kept the sugar to 4g per bar.

100 calories for 25g (0.88oz), 5g protein, 4g sugar, 6g fat (mainly coconut and dark chocolate fat.

Briskbars are vegan, gmo free, gluten free and kosher.

We do not bake the bars to keep most of their goodness.

No preservatives, artificial ingredients or obscure chemicals.

It contains 100mg of natural caffeine. If you are highly sensitive to caffeine or never tried guarana before, we recommend ½ a bar to start.

So a positive about these are that they are they are all natural so you don't have to worry about having any harmful chemicals or preservatives in these. However, the taste is very bitter. They are a dark chocolate and coconut bar. I wasn't expecting to get a super sweet bar, obviously but they don't taste like they have any chocolate or coconut in them at all. On the other hand, they did give me a little energy after eating them, however I can't get past the taste. If these had a better flavor i would definitely give these a 5/5.
